According to Tom's Hardware, Intel has quietly started briefing manufacturers on the next generation dual-core Pentium D, previously codenamed "Presler".
The CPU is manufactured using a 65 nanometer process, runs at up to 3.4 GHz, and contains 4 MB of L2 cache.
